The Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan plans to send 200 kilograms of laddus to Ayodhya as an offering for a ‘yagya’ (a ritualistic ceremony). This offering is part of the preparations for a week-long ‘yagya’ scheduled to be held in Ayodhya from January 16 to 22. The laddus will be sent on Makar Sankranti, a festival that marks the transition of the sun into the zodiac sign of Capricorn.

The laddus will be made using dry fruits, ‘misri’ (crystallized sugar), saffron, and seasonal ingredients. They will be transported to Ayodhya in a vehicle decorated as a chariot, adding a ceremonial and festive touch to the contribution.

This decoration is a unique occurrence and has previously been done only on the occasion of Ram Navami.

Bhagwat Bhawan, where the idols are located, will undergo decoration with lights to resemble the Ram Mandir of Ayodhya. The entire process seems to be a way of expressing solidarity and participation in the significant event of consecrating the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
