In Ayodhya, the construction of the Ram Mandir is progressing and a significant milestone has been achieved with the installation of the first majestic golden door at Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
This Gold door is around 12 feet in height and 8 feet in width and has been placed on the upper floor of the sanctum sanctorum.
42 Gold Door Ayodhya Ram Mandir
The Shri Ram Mandir scheduled to open its doors to visitors after the Ram Lalla consecration ceremony on 22 January 2024, is expected to have a total of 46 doors, with an impressive 42 of them coated with gold.
The installation of the golden door marks a momentous step in the construction of the bhavya Ram Mandir, a symbol of cultural and religious significance for devotees of Lord Ram Lalla.

Ban on liquor sales in UP during Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony
To ensure widespread participation and a sense of occasion, the Chief Minister has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges in the state on the day of the Ram Mandir inauguration.

Shri Ram Mandir architecture
The Shri Ram Mandir architecture includes a total of 46 doors and the plan is to plate 42 of them with gold, adding to the grandeur of the structure. In the next three days leading up to the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla Idol, 13 more golden doors are scheduled to be added to the Ram Mandir.
