In a momentous occasion for devotees, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir recently opened its doors for Ram Lalla Darshan to the public after the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla idol.

The grand ceremony, officiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a select group of priests, marked the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol.

Ram Lalla Darshan

Devotees, both local residents and visitors from other states, gathered in large numbers since 3 am to catch a glimpse of the new Ram Lalla idol on the first morning after the the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

The atmosphere was filled with extreme celebrations as people eagerly sought entry to the Ram Mandir premises.

The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla Idol itself, held at 12:29 pm on 22 January 2024, was attended by individuals from various walks of life, including representatives from tribal communities and prominent spiritual leaders.

The consecration ceremony marked the culmination of a seven day ritual that began on 16 January 2024.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Darshan Timing

To manage the influx of devotees, specific time slots for darshan (viewing) of Lord Ram Lalla have been allocated. The morning slot from 7 am to 11:30 am and the afternoon slot from 2 pm to 7 pm.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Aarti Timing

Aarti timings include jagran and shringar of Ram Lalla at 6:30 am and sandhya aarti at 7:30 pm. Entry passes for the Ram Lalla aarti can be obtained both offline and online, with offline passes available at the camp office at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust, requiring a valid government identity proof.

Ram Mandir Architecture

The Ram Mandir, built in the traditional Nagara style, boasts dimensions of 380 feet in length (east west) and 250 feet in width.

Standing at a height of 161 feet above the ground, it is supported by 392 pillars and features 44 doors adorned with intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities.

Devotees from various parts of the country expressed their joy at being part of this historic moment. Devotees are amazed and happy to see Ayodhya all decorated, comparing it to a bride.

They feel a special connection and joy knowing they get to see the revered Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
